Camino de Cornisa on the Ruta National N.9 is the ancient road that led from Jujuy to Salta and which is now used only for tourism purposes. Its dense forest is sub-tropical, hot, humid and rainy, rich in fauna and flora.
The region and the city of Salta are twice the size of the region and the city of Jujuy respectively. Salta Capital is heavily touristy, while Jujuy’s attractions are not in the capital but in its surroundings. [English]
